Inventory
Overview
Keeps stock for a business that already runs on its own tables: what is on hand, where, in which batch, and what it cost. It keeps items, with a unit, a reorder level and an average cost; the places stock is kept in, and how much of each item is in each; batches, with an expiry date where the item has one — the earliest expiry is used first; and movements, every change of a quantity with what caused it. The rows of your own tables — an order line, a visit, a booked room — take from it, hold it and give it back in the same save that writes them, or the save writes nothing. An app says, in its own manifest, which of its rows use stock and when; the add-on decides, and Adminium reads and writes. It attaches to no app in particular, and works with none at all: stock can be received, counted and moved from its own screens. Nothing is fetched from anywhere and no account is needed.
What it attaches to
This one is not tied to one app. It works inside Adminium itself, and in any app that hosts add-ons.
What connecting lets it do
Switched on, it brings tables of its own and writes its stock rows there, in the same save as the row of yours that caused them. It reads the rows an app’s manifest names for it. It reaches nothing outside your installation: there is no key to keep and nothing to sign in to.
Addresses its server code may reach
None. It reaches nothing outside your own installation.
What it needs to connect

If you switch it off
Disconnecting removes an add-on’s surfaces. It never drops the tables it created, deletes the files it wrote, or removes the rows it added — everything it wrote stays in your database.
What stays
Every table it created stays in your database with its rows: items, places, batches and every movement. Your own tables are as they were.
What goes
Its screens leave the dashboard. The apps that used it go back to saving without stock: nothing is held, taken or counted.
About the demo
This one calls no outside service at all — in the demo or self-hosted — so it has no stand-in transport, and there is nothing to switch off. The add-ons that do reach out ship one and it is on by default, so no demo on this site makes a real call to anyone else’s service.
How to switch it on The Clinic Desk, Hotel Reservations and Point of Sale demos on this site show what an app does with it, answered from built-in data. In your own Adminium, add Inventory under Add-ons — an app that works with it also offers it when the app is installed — and its Stock pages appear in the dashboard menu.
