These Terms govern your use of the Adminium website at adminium.dev and its content. The Adminium software itself is licensed separately under the GNU AGPL-3.0 — see The software and its license below. By using this website you agree to these Terms; if you do not agree, please do not use the site.

The software and its license

Adminium is free and open-source software, released under the GNU Affero General Public License, version 3.0 (AGPL-3.0). Your rights to run, study, modify, and redistribute the software come from that license, and nothing on this page limits or replaces it. If these website Terms and the AGPL-3.0 ever conflict as to the software, the license controls.

No accounts, no fees

Adminium launches completely free. There are no vendor accounts, subscriptions, or payments on adminium.dev — there is nothing to buy and nothing to sign up for.

Self-hosting and your responsibilities

Adminium is self-hosted: you install and run it on your own infrastructure and point it at your own database. You are responsible for:

• your deployment, servers, and network security;
• the database you connect — including its access credentials, backups, and the data within it;
• complying with the laws and regulations that apply to how you use Adminium and the data you manage with it.

Acceptable use of the website

You may read, share, and link to adminium.dev freely. Please do not:

• attempt to break, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the site or the systems that serve it;
• scrape it in a way that disrupts service for others;
• use the Adminium name or branding to imply an endorsement or affiliation that does not exist.

Intellectual property

The Adminium source code is licensed under AGPL-3.0. The website's text, design, and graphics are © 2026 Adminium, except where noted. "Adminium" and the Adminium logo are marks of the project: the AGPL-3.0 license grants you rights to the software, not the right to use the project's name or branding in a misleading way.

Third-party services and deploy partners

The site links to third-party platforms — GitHub, our documentation, and cloud hosts that can deploy Adminium for you — each governed by its own terms, which we do not control. Some of those deploy links are affiliate links:

Adminium may earn a commission from these platforms; the price you pay is unchanged.

No warranty

The website and the Adminium software are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Consistent with the AGPL-3.0, the software comes with no warranty. You use Adminium and this site at your own risk.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Adminium project and its contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of the website or the software — even if advised of the possibility. Nothing here limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as the project changes. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised Terms; the "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest version.

Governing law and consumer rights

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable where the Adminium project is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Nothing in these Terms removes protections you have under the mandatory law of the place you live. In particular, if you are a consumer in the EU or the EEA, the consumer-protection rules of your country of residence continue to apply, and this choice of law does not deprive you of them.
